Cron Expression Format
A cron expression consists of 5 fields:
- Minute (0-59): The minute of the hour
- Hour (0-23): The hour of the day
- Day of Month (1-31): The day of the month
- Month (1-12): The month of the year
- Day of Week (0-7): The day of the week (0 or 7 = Sunday)
Special Characters
- * - Any value
- , - Value list separator (e.g., 1,3,5)
- - - Range (e.g., 1-5)
- / - Step values (e.g., */5 for every 5 minutes)
Examples
- 0 0 * * * - Every day at midnight
- 0 */6 * * * - Every 6 hours
- 0 9 * * 1-5 - Every weekday at 9 AM
- */15 * * * * - Every 15 minutes
